THE EXTRAORDINARY TRIBBLE CHALLENGE
September 18th - October 2nd, 2016
Welcome to Sputnik's fifth challenge!
Forgive me for the lateness of this challenge. I'm working on a different type of trivia challenge, but have been unable to find a website to support how I want it to work. I'm still working on that. In the meantime let's try a spin on the "Caption This!" contest.
For this challenge you will have to find a Star Trek picture and submit it with a caption of your choosing. That's right! All you have to do is find a picture you like and create a funny, serious, or sarcastic caption for it. Anything you like!
A great place to find pictures is at this site: www.trekcore.com
You can do screencaps from the show or even behind the scenes photos.
You can submit only one picture with caption! Caption can be changed if you think of a better one before the end of the challenge, just edit your post.
No bad language or innuendos!
There will be no word limit for this "Caption This!" so be creative!
Note: If you are having problems posting an image just contact me. I'll help you get it posted.
This is the 5th of 12 challenges that will be posted for the remainder of 2016. Twice a month, a challenge will be issued. They will comprise of mainly trivia challenges, but he may throw in a couple of "Caption This!" to mix it up a bit. Also, knowing Sputnik, there may be a couple of other surprises as well.
There will be a first place prize for a $25 gift card for one of the following (winners choice):
Star Trek Official Store
Barnes and Nobel
There may also be a second and third place prize if we can get enough participants (8-10) to warrant giving out more prizes.
Due to the fact that the trivia is public and we will also be advertising it on Facebook and Twitter, it must be noted that only registered members of ESB may win one of the prizes (Note: Must be a member for 3 months at the close of the 2016 challenge).
Winner will be announced and prize awarded in January 2017.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask in this thread or send Maj. Gen. J. Tanner or Brig. Gen. D. Tensa a PM.
Any feedback will be appreciated to help design future challenges.
Thank you and good luck!
